Egyptian cat Linocut print

Title: “Cartouche”

This linocut print is a second and varied edition printing of this Egyptian cat print. This second edition is hand colored with a grey ink wash. The edition is a limited series of 10 prints and each copy is signed and numbered. It is printed with Caligo Safe Wash ink on Strathmore paper and is printed using a small press.

One of the coolest features of block printmaking is that every print is unique and slightly different. I’ve tried to give you as many examples as I can of this variation in the photos.
