This is an enhanced print of a pen and ink drawing. The giclee print is mounted to a small wooden plaque that is 5x7 inches. The wood is painted black and the entire piece is coated with a varnish. On the back is a sawtooth hanger, making the plaque ready to hang on a wall. Stand is not included.
About the work:
I am a dark artist living in central Wisconsin, US. The goal of my work is to contribute to the death positive movement by evoking discussion about the inevitability of death and to emphasize the beauty in darkness. My work can be seen as a modern memento mori, a reminder that one day we will die. It also serves as a reminder that death is a part of, and contributes to, life.
